The Other Woman nominated in the Edgars

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Hank Phillippi Ryan’s novel, The Other Woman, has been nominated in the Edgars for the Mary Higgins Clark award!

The Edgars is put on by The Mystery Writers of America (MWA) and is widely acknowledged in the States to be the most prestigious awards in the genre of crime and mystery. The Mary Higgins Clark category is for books most closely written in the Mary Higgins Clark Tradition.

Among her guidelines is the presence of a clear, strong female protagonist. She should be self-made and independent and solve her problems by her own courage and intelligence. The main character and strong voice of Jane Ryland is one aspect of The Other Woman that particularly rallied us behind this book. We couldn’t be more proud of Hank and The Other Woman!

Congratulations from all of us here at Piatkus!

The Other Woman is available from Piatkus Entice now.
